## Description

East Coast Occupational Therapy is a mobile occupational therapy practice serving the Mid North Coast from Port Macquarie, New South Wales. It supports adults with physical, neurological, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities, as well as older adults seeking to maintain independence and safety. Services for eligible self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients include functional and assistive technology assessments, simple and complex home modification assessments, and capacity-building programs delivered by support workers. The practice is not a registered NDIS provider and does not accept NDIA-managed clients.

East Coast Occupational Therapy also provides Department of Veterans’ Affairs-funded home assessments, equipment prescriptions and home modification assessments, along with My Aged Care assessments for assistive equipment and home modifications. Its driving assessment service is led by licensed occupational therapy driving assessor Olivia and can be accessed following referral from a doctor or the RMS. Assessments include off-road reviews of relevant skills and an on-road evaluation in a driving instructor’s dual-control vehicle.
