Eastern National is a 501(c)3 nonprofit cooperating association that supports the National Park Service and other public trust partners. Established in 1947 by National Park Service rangers, Eastern National's vision was to create a network that would serve as a shared-resource retail and educational network for America's historical, cultural, and natural places. To achieve this, Eastern National publishes and sells park-specific materials and operates park stores in more than 175 destinations across the United States and its territories.

Through the proceeds from every sale, Eastern National has contributed over $180 million to support educational programs in national parks and public trusts. These funds have been used to purchase artifacts, develop living history demonstrations and exhibits, renovate facilities, and support research programs that directly benefit the parks and their interpretive missions. By providing quality educational experiences, products, and services, Eastern National seeks to promote the public's understanding and support of America's national parks and other public trust partners.
