With a focus on providing kids throughout the east side of Portland with an opportunity to learn, enjoy, and compete in America's oldest and fastest-growing sport, lacrosse, eastsidePDXlax is committed to making a positive impact on the community. During the spring season, which typically runs from mid-March to May, participants can expect two practices per week, along with a game. The program consists of multiple teams at each level, ensuring a competitive and inclusive experience. In addition to the spring league, eastsidePDXlax offers select lacrosse programs for boys in 5th-8th grade and a gold program for girls in the same grades. To further enhance skills, eastsidePDXlax also organizes a fall scrimmage league and an indoor winter clinic, both meeting once a week. Throughout the year, the program emphasizes player safety through equipment and concussion information, as well as fostering a positive environment through a player code of conduct.
