# East Texas Orofacial Myology - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `easttexasorofacialmyology.com` ## Description East Texas Orofacial Myology provides orofacial myofunctional therapy in Tyler, Texas, helping children, teens, and adults address concerns involving the muscles of the face, jaw, and mouth. The practice is led by Misty Bridges, RDH, BS, COM®, identified as the only certified orofacial myologist in East Texas. Therapy focuses on recognizing and retraining muscle patterns, aiming to address underlying causes rather than symptoms alone. Areas of focus include thumb sucking, lisping, tongue thrust, tongue and lip ties, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) discomfort or dysfunction, and open-mouth posture. The practice also offers habit elimination support and shares case studies about therapy. Its educational materials explain the introduction, efficacy, and potential benefits of orofacial myofunctional therapy, including support for oral resting posture and dental development. The site notes that improved muscle function may assist orthodontic treatment and that therapy may help with concerns associated with disrupted sleep, snoring, or TMJ pain. East Texas Orofacial Myology is located at 2461 Mosaic Way, Suite C, Tyler, and can be contacted by phone or email. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Dentist and Dental Services _(under Health)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/easttexasorofacialmyology) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/EastTxOM) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idkfsq_jI3/w/1500/h/685/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790934241227) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idkfsq_jI3/w/1274/h/1274/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790934241428) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Mosque | #045b73 | accent | | Brown Derby | #521c19 | dark | | Malibu | #94d7f7 | light | ## Fonts - Poppins — asset _(google)_ - var(--meta-font-font-family) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
