## Description

EB is a historic French climbing brand known for its climbing shoes and equipment. Its origins date to 1949, when cordwainer Edmond Bourdonneau and climber Pierre Allain created what the site describes as the world’s first climbing shoe. Today, EB shoes are designed in the heart of the Alps and intended for climbers of all abilities, from beginners to experienced athletes. The range includes Elite, Performance, Expert and Sport lines, with an emphasis on balancing grip and performance with comfort for indoor and outdoor climbing.

EB also offers equipment and accessories, including crash pads, backpacks, rope and chalk bags, chalk, brushes, foot-care products and protective items. Featured products include the E-Grip wooden training hold, C-Glove crack-climbing gloves and E POF chalk bags. The brand is commercialized by 9A Climbing, a company founded in 2009 in Voiron, France, which designs and distributes products for indoor and outdoor climbing. EB products are available through specialist retailers, sports shops, climbing gyms and online stores in France and abroad.
