East Bay Photo Collective is a community of photographers based in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our goal is to create a vibrant and inclusive community photo center that offers a wide range of facilities and services. This includes a gallery to showcase our members' work, workshops to enhance photographic skills, darkrooms for film development, and other resources for photographers of all levels. At present, we operate Oakland Photo Workshop, a community gallery located in Oakland's Chinatown. However, we have exciting plans underway to develop an auxiliary darkroom in 2023. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inspiring environment for East Bay photographers, particularly those who may be underserved or lacking access to a creative community. By joining East Bay Photo Collective, you not only gain access to our facilities and educational programs, but you also contribute to the growth and development of our community.
