ECBACC, Inc. Originally known as the Pan-African Comic Convention or First World Komix Con, this convention brings together comic book artists, writers, fans, and retailers for a weekend of engaging discussions, buying, and selling. ECBACC offers more than just a marketplace.

The convention features panel discussions, self-publishing and graphic arts workshops, and film screenings of works by both industry veterans and up-and-coming amateurs. Since its inception in 2002, ECBACC has successfully cultivated positive and diverse images of Black super-powered characters, serving as a nexus for Black comic book creators, colleagues, and fans. Through literacy and creativity workshops, ECBACC promotes youth development in comic book writing and drawing.

The brand also provides a platform for leading Black artists and writers in the industry to showcase their work and network with peers.
