## Description

EcclesiaViva Onlus is a cultural and community organisation based in Agrigento, Italy, dedicated to helping people discover the area’s religious heritage and shared identity. Through its work with museums, churches and local communities, it presents historic sites as living places where spirituality, art and culture meet.

Its cultural itinerary includes the Cathedral of San Gerlando, the Diocesan Museum (MUDIA), Santa Maria dei Greci, San Lorenzo, San Pietro and San Giorgio degli Oblati. Visitors can encounter centuries of history through architecture, paintings, sculpture, sacred objects, frescoes and archaeological remains. MUDIA also forms part of a wider museum network across the diocese, connecting heritage sites with the communities around them.

EcclesiaViva promotes San Pietro as a cultural hub where exhibitions, events and concerts take place alongside liturgical life, respecting the church’s sacred character. The organisation also shares news and cultural initiatives through its blog and offers information about civil service opportunities. Its work invites residents and visitors to explore Agrigento’s heritage while strengthening the bond between faith, culture and community.
