## Description

The European Centre for Environment & Human Health (ECEHH) is a research and education centre within the University of Exeter Medical School, based in Penryn, Cornwall. It investigates the complex relationships between environmental conditions and human health, bringing together expertise across disciplines. The Centre works with decision-makers at local, national and international levels to translate research evidence into policy and practice, and is a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre on Natural Environments and Health.

ECEHH’s research spans antimicrobial resistance and microbiology; housing, energy and technology; climate change; sustainable food systems and planetary health; nature, green spaces and aquatic environments; and social justice and health equity. Its work addresses issues including emissions, biodiversity, nutrition, healthy homes, inclusion and climate adaptation. Alongside research, the Centre offers education through its MSc in Environment and Human Health and continuing professional development courses. It also supports public engagement and shares updates through news, blogs, events and publications.
