## Description

The ECHL is a premier 'AA' hockey league that has been in operation since 1988-89. What began with five teams in four states has now grown into a coast-to-coast league with 27 teams in 20 states and two Canadian provinces for its 34th season in 2021-22. With affiliations with 27 of the 32 NHL teams, the ECHL provides a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and potentially make it to the National Hockey League. In fact, over 700 players have gone on to play in the NHL after starting their careers in the ECHL. The league prides itself on delivering an exciting and competitive hockey experience for fans across North America. To stay updated on all things ECHL, you can follow them on Twitter and Facebook. Whether you're a die-hard hockey fan or just looking for a thrilling sports event, the ECHL promises unforgettable moments on the ice.
