## Description

Echoes of Time is a family-owned costume and vintage clothing shop in Virginia Beach, serving the Hampton Roads community since Evie Myatt opened it as an antique store in 1979. As customers began renting vintage pieces for costume parties, the business evolved into a year-round destination for costumes, vintage clothing, and theatrical makeup. Evie’s daughter Cathy now runs the store with her family.

The shop offers costumes and accessories for Halloween, Renaissance fairs, gothic looks, cosplay, conventions, masquerades, and themed events. Shoppers can find masks, wigs, hats, props, corsets, cloaks, play weapons, fake blood, and stage and special-effects makeup, including products from certified Ben Nye dealer Echoes of Time. Its vintage selection includes clothing and jewelry, with styles and costumes spanning the 1920s through the 1990s. The store carries children’s sizes and costumes up to size 4X, and rents some costumes in person.

Customers can shop at the Virginia Beach location or browse its online selection, reserving items for pickup or choosing shipping.
