The E-Collaborative for Civic Education is a U. S. -based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing civic education and democratic political life on a global scale.

Through the use of technology, such as live e-learning platforms, social networks, mobile phones, television, and radio, they empower civil society groups by equipping them with knowledge about democracy and human rights. The organization believes that individuals who are committed to democratic values, the rule of law, and civil and political liberties are not only likely to fight for their own freedom but also to establish and sustain democratic institutions. The founder of the organization, who has a personal history of civic activism, has been working closely with civic activists in Iran since leaving the country in 2005.

In 2010, the organization launched its flagship project, Tavaana: E-Learning Institute for Iranian Civil Society. Tavaana provides secure and anonymous live instruction courses, self-learning manuals, case studies, interviews, and resources on various topics, including women's rights, cybersecurity, and leadership. The E-Collaborative for Civic Education aims to bridge the gap between academia and practical learning, overcome technological and knowledge barriers in different contexts, and promote engaging civic literacy initiatives.
