About
Description
ECLC of NJ, which stands for Education, Careers & Lifelong Community, is a brand that has been providing comprehensive services for children and adults with special needs for over 50 years. Originally launched in 1970 as the Early Childhood Learning Centers of New Jersey, ECLC has evolved to serve a greater number of adult clients, offering education, vocational training, and job placements. They operate two accredited schools for students aged 5-21 with severe learning and language disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, or multiple disabilities.
In addition, ECLC has two separate entities: Community Personnel Services (CPS), which provides post-graduate transition services and job placements for special-needs adults, and the PRIDE program, which offers vocational training, independent living skills, and more. ECLC's mission is to empower the individuals they serve and help them achieve their maximum potential, enhancing their quality of life. Through their various programs and services, they aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with special needs.
With a rich history and a commitment to serving the community, ECLC continues its dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs
