## Description

The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands is a community service organization in Dallas, Texas, and an affiliate of the National Exchange Club. Serving the Lake Highlands area since 1961, it brings people together to support local schools, public safety first responders, neighborhood nonprofits, youth programs, and projects that strengthen the community. Its work includes a focus on child abuse prevention, youth service, and citizenship.

The club provides scholarships to graduating seniors at Lake Highlands High School and recognizes students, teachers, public safety professionals, and other community members through awards and recognition programs. It also sponsors the Lake Highlands Bellboys and supports community grants.

The Exchange Club organizes neighborhood events and fundraisers throughout the year. These include Oktoberfest Dallas, a fall celebration that raises funds for grants and scholarships; a Fourth of July parade and family carnival; and Casino Night and Auction, featuring auctions, music, and food. Other activities include the Red and White Game and a spring concert.
