## Description

Eclipse262728 is a Spanish project dedicated to helping people prepare for and experience the solar eclipses crossing Spain in 2026, 2027, and 2028. Working since 2016 and supported by the International Astronomical Union, the initiative promotes eclipses as an opportunity for sustainable tourism and positive engagement with local communities. Its team draws on academic research and experience attending eclipses around the world.

The project offers specialized services for planning eclipse events and festivals, including training, field studies to identify viewing locations, event and festival management, and cultural and educational activities. It also provides guidance on weather, accommodation, and safe viewing, and sells eclipse glasses that it says meet the ISO 12312-2 standard. Visitors can explore information about each upcoming eclipse, prepare for the event, and take part in related activities and competitions. Eclipse262728 aims to make these rare celestial events accessible, memorable, and safe, while helping communities and visitors get ready to observe them together.
