# Eclipse Companion - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `eclipsecompanion.online` ## Description Eclipse Companion is a digital guide to the total solar eclipse of August 2, 2027, created as a project of Altavance Media. It helps people in Spain and Portugal understand what they will see from their municipality and whether they need to travel to experience totality. The site provides free local eclipse timings and a map of the path, drawing on astronomical calculations for each municipality’s exact coordinates. Its paid, one-time plan costs €17 and adds precise viewing direction, named locations within the totality zone, a schedule for the day, guidance on when eclipse glasses can be removed, a packing list, and a downloadable PDF for mobile or print. The guide covers the eclipse’s progress before, during, and after totality, while emphasizing that cloud cover cannot be predicted. Visitors can also sign up for an email update about the 2027 event. Eclipse Companion offers a 14-day refund period and provides direct contact for questions. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Astronomy _(under Science and Education)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cinder | #08070d | dark | | Chardonnay | #ffd08a | light | ## Fonts - var(--font-geist-sans) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--font-geist-sans) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
