## Description

Eclipse Megamovie 2024 (EM2024) is a groundbreaking project spearheaded by Dr. Laura Peticolas and Dr. Carlos Martinez Oliveros, funded by NASA, to delve into the secrets of solar jets and plasma plumes. Building on the success of its precursor, EM2017, this initiative aims to recruit citizen scientists to capture images of the solar corona during the upcoming total solar eclipse in 2024. By utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for image analysis, volunteers will contribute valuable data to understand the enigmatic phenomena of solar jets and plumes. The project's expected scientific discoveries include shedding light on rapid variations in the Sun's corona and how it evolves over time. With a diverse community of participants, including software engineers, data scientists, and Spanish-speaking volunteers, EM2024 invites individuals from all backgrounds to join this exciting journey of solar exploration. Be part of this revolutionary endeavor and contribute to unraveling the mysteries of the solar atmosphere with Eclipse Megamovie 2024.
