- **Primary alias:** `eclipsi.info`

## Description

Its main tool calculates what viewers can expect at a specific location, including the eclipse time, duration of totality, visibility, cloud forecast and surrounding terrain. Users can choose a place to see locally relevant results, explore visibility maps and find official observing locations. The site also offers practical guides, information about future eclipses and a gallery where people can share photographs linked to the locations where they were taken. For the 2 August 2027 eclipse, visitors can sign up for a clearly defined email bulletin of two messages: a guide in July and a reminder during the week before the event. The project emphasizes privacy: calculations run on the user’s device, and location data is not sent to analytics. Its calculations and resources draw on cited astronomical, mapping, terrain and weather data sources.
