## Description

ECNetwork | Wien is the interdisciplinary entrepreneurship network of Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences. Our mission is to foster and support entrepreneurial thinking and action, while promoting cross-university networking. We currently have 29 universities in our network. ECNetwork was established in 2012 by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at WU Vienna, in collaboration with six universities in Vienna. Our flagship program, the Entrepreneurship Avenue, is one of the largest entrepreneurship event series for students, organized annually since 2014. In 2020, ECNetwork underwent a strategic realignment with a focus on nationwide cross-university networking. Our participating partners, universities and universities of applied sciences, regularly exchange knowledge, experiences, and learnings on entrepreneurship activities. We also provide a platform for individuals interested in starting their own businesses, including students, researchers, alumni, and university staff.
