## Description

Green Code Initiative is an open-source collective committed to making digital services more sustainable and reducing the environmental and social impact of software. It brings together a range of partners, including Aubay, Bouygues Telecom Business Solution, Capgemini, Crédit Agricole, Davidson, inside|app, Sonar, Thales, TOSIT, and UPPA. The collective develops projects and tools that help teams understand and improve the ecological footprint of their applications. Its featured solution, Creedengo, measures the environmental impact of applications, while ecoCode provides a collection of SonarQube plugins for analyzing source code. Based on the collective’s software eco-design rules, ecoCode identifies issues in a codebase and helps developers address practices that may increase the impact of their programs. Through its open-source projects, shared expertise, and partner network, Green Code Initiative supports organizations seeking to build more responsible digital solutions and make software development more sustainable.
