## Description

Écodev is a nonprofit association founded in Martinique in 2018, bringing together people who want to connect ecological, economic, and human concerns. Its approach is rooted in the belief that sustainable development considers people, livelihoods, and natural environments together. The association encourages cooperation, volunteer engagement, and locally grounded initiatives, combining reflection with practical action.

Écodev offers four complementary areas of activity. Its eco-orientation work helps young people explore training, career paths, and opportunities in environmental professions so they can make informed choices. Through advice, studies, and evaluations, it can help associations, collectives, and social-economy organisations clarify projects, inform decisions, or assess results; pro bono support may be possible depending on capacity. The association also facilitates philosophical cafés, conversations, and outdoor gatherings that invite open discussion about ways of life, relationships with nature, and collective choices. Its environmental activities aim to encourage citizen-led initiatives such as natural-space cleanups, awareness-raising, and discovery of local environments. Future ideas are developed collaboratively and are not necessarily scheduled events.
