## Description

Ecologja is a nonprofit scientific network established in Milan in July 2022 as a legally recognized network contract. Founded through the philanthropic initiative of Arianet SUEZ and EUROFINS Environ-Lab, together with a group of professionals, it works to protect the planet and advance global environmental health. Its approach follows the One Earth–One Health principle, recognizing the connections between human, animal and ecosystem health. The network brings together expertise across medicine, toxicology, epidemiology, environmental modelling and law, supporting independent research and sharing knowledge without subordinating it to commercial interests.

Ecologja offers applied scientific collaboration for productive activities and develops integrated assessments to support public and environmental health. Its work rests on four areas: environmental and health monitoring plans; toxicological assessment, developed with the Mario Negri Institute; epidemiological research through the University of Insubria’s EPIMED Research Centre; and environmental legislation and regulatory expertise with Studio Legale Salvemini. Guided by an ethical code adopted from the Mario Negri Institute, the network aims to provide rigorous, evidence-based analysis and practical responses to environmental health challenges.
