## Description

Ecomat is a specialist supplier of sustainable, ecological building materials for healthier, more responsible construction and living. Operating since 1989, the company serves individuals and businesses across Belgium and the Netherlands, with stores in Zandhoven and Borgerhout and an online shop. Its range supports projects from construction and insulation to woodwork, plastering, interior decoration, gardening and do-it-yourself renovations. Ecomat also provides product information and practical guidance to help customers select and use materials suited to their specific needs.

Beyond selling materials, Ecomat shares expertise through its online knowledge bank, blog and documentation centre, covering topics such as timber construction, hemp-lime building and natural insulation. Customers can also seek advice and project support, while courses and workshops offer opportunities to learn about techniques such as working with clay plaster. Ecomat’s approach considers both environmental impact and health, promoting materials designed to support healthy indoor and outdoor environments and circular resource use. The company serves both professional tradespeople and homeowners looking to build, renovate or live more sustainably.
