## Description

Brussel Economie en Werkgelegenheid is a pivotal governmental organization dedicated to fostering a sustainable economy and creating job opportunities in the Brussels-Capital Region. The agency supports entrepreneurs by offering essential services such as guidance on starting and managing businesses, as well as training programs for employees, particularly focusing on non-European nationals.

Their efforts to promote a green economy are evident through initiatives that reward businesses for their sustainability commitments, and they also provide financial support through various subsidies and grants. Notably, the agency recently relaunched a project to encourage female entrepreneurship, with a budget of 500,000 euros designated to support aspiring women business owners.

In addition, Brussel Economie and Werkgelegenheid facilitates a range of online resources, including labor market regulations, funding opportunities, and specialized training programs, aimed at enhancing workforce development and business internationalization. Their commitment to diversity further underlines their mission to cultivate an inclusive environment for all industries, including agriculture, tourism, and food services.
