## Description

Cátedra de Economía Social is a project focused on social-economy enterprises and their legal frameworks. Its website provides a dedicated database of bylaws for cooperatives and worker-owned companies, known in Spain as sociedades laborales. Visitors can explore introductory presentations, complete bylaws, and individual statutory clauses for both types of organization, making the resource useful for people seeking information about their structures and governing documents.

The site is associated with the research project “Social Economy Enterprises and New Business Models” (DER2017-87895-R), funded through Spain’s State Programme for Research, Development and Innovation addressing societal challenges. The project ran from 2018 to 2021. Rather than presenting a broad commercial product range, Cátedra de Economía Social offers informational and research resources centered on the social economy, including organized access to legal and reference materials. Its online platform is designed to help users navigate content on cooperatives and worker-owned companies and consult relevant statutory documentation.
