Ecosource is an innovative Ontario-based organization dedicated to inspiring communities to become more environmentally responsible through creative public education. With a history dating back to 1979 in Mississauga, our work has expanded throughout the Region of Peel and beyond. We focus on promoting waste reduction, urban agriculture, sustainability education, nature connection, and youth leadership.

At Ecosource, we believe in engaging all members of the community in environmental education and strive to provide inclusive programs that reflect our diverse community. Our dedicated staff work in schools and communities, delivering interactive learning experiences that highlight our interdependence on each other and the environment. In 2021 alone, we reached over 26,000 residents in the Region of Peel, expanding our reach and impact.

Our vision is for everyone in the community to care about and take personal action for the environment. Through creative education, our mission is to inspire our community to be personally accountable for environmental sustainability.
