## Description

Ecuries du Giessen is an equestrian centre in Ebersheim, Alsace, located between Strasbourg and Colmar. It welcomes riders of all levels for lessons led by state-qualified instructors, and offers a broad range of equestrian activities and services, including trail rides, horse boarding, breaking in horses, competition outings and group visits. The centre also organises holiday courses and stages, with schedules and registration information available through its office.

The club supports riders and horses in competition, including show jumping and eventing, and celebrates the achievements of its teams at regional and national events. Its facilities include an aquatic walker, and its website also introduces the centre’s team, horses, installations and boarding options.

Animal welfare is central to the centre’s approach. Ecuries du Giessen reports that it has received the French Equestrian Federation’s animal-welfare label for several years, following assessments of factors such as tack, feeding, horse condition, hoof care, living spaces and behaviour. The centre presents this recognition as confirmation of its commitment to horses’ quality of life and wellbeing.
