## Description

Live since 2018, the network combines a transparent UTXO transaction model with deterministic 10-second blocks, low fees and client-side smart contracts. Its native asset, ECR, is used to pay for transactions, participate in staking and interact with programmable payment systems. ECR has a capped supply of approximately 318 million coins, with new issuance governed by a fixed, halving block reward.

The network’s architecture supports payment applications, digital asset platforms, blockchain infrastructure and automated financial interactions. Its security combines Falcon post-quantum signatures with classical cryptographic options, while staking does not require users to lock their coins for a set period. eCurrency offers ecosystem tools and infrastructure including web and desktop wallets, with mobile and browser-extension wallets listed as forthcoming, as well as public nodes, a REST API and a testnet. Developers can consult the project’s whitepaper and litepaper to explore the technology. Its roadmap also outlines planned payment gateways, merchant solutions and QR payments.
