## Description

Edda Isere Ahonen is a certified death doula offering compassionate, individualized support for people in Uusimaa and online who are navigating bereavement, loss, or major life changes. Drawing on her personal experience of grief and her professional training, Edda provides a safe, attentive space to talk about death, emotions, fears, and questions without pressure or a prescribed way to grieve.

Her central offering, Dance with the Death, is a flexible guided journey through grief and change. Its themes are building a sense of safety and presence, meeting emotions gently, and exploring a new chapter of life alongside loss. Sessions may include conversation, reflection, and support in finding tools for difficult feelings and reconnecting with oneself and the present moment. The journey is shaped around each person’s needs and pace.

Prospective clients begin with a free, one-to-one introductory call lasting 60 to 90 minutes to discuss their situation and the support they are seeking. Edda also creates opportunities for open conversation about death, including gatherings such as Death Evening.
