# edfieldmanual.com - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `edfieldmanual.com` ## Description Elite Dangerous Field Manual (EDFM) is an independent, community-maintained wiki and practical reference for players of Elite Dangerous. It brings together current game information, structured reference pages, and step-by-step guidance for commanders at every experience level. New players can follow a roadmap covering controls, ships, early income, survival, and essential systems, while returning players can catch up on major mechanics and experienced commanders can browse detailed references. EDFM offers practical field procedures for activities such as mining and unlocking engineers, alongside guides to missions, ships and equipment, engineering, Odyssey, Powerplay, colonisation, and other game systems. Its reference resources include engineer lists and capability comparisons, tools, and data for looking up game mechanics. The site also publishes new and updated articles, and keeps community and developer news distinct from its own editorial content. Actively developed by its community, the Field Manual welcomes contributions and continues to expand its guides, templates, and reference material. Its aim is to make useful, actionable knowledge accessible to all commanders. ## Industries - 🎮 Games - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Dictionaries and Encyclopedias _(under Reference Materials)_ - 🎮 Games _(under Games)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idtkeGQkyK/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791178541627) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cornflower Blue | #5865f2 | accent | | Black Pearl | #071c26 | dark | | Spray | #7fe0ec | light | ## Fonts - var(--edfm-mono) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--edfm-mono) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
