## Description

Edgewise Therapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on developing novel precision medicines for serious cardiovascular diseases with significant unmet medical needs. Drawing on specialized expertise in muscle science, the company studies cardiac muscle biology to pursue new therapeutic approaches for conditions that can limit patients’ lives. Its stated areas of focus include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), an inherited condition involving excessive thickening of the heart’s left ventricular wall, and heart failure, including heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), which is often associated with a stiffened heart muscle.

Edgewise’s pipeline includes investigational programs EDG-7500 and EDG-15400. The company also shares information about its clinical trials, scientific posters and presentations, and cardiovascular disease research. Its work is guided by a commitment to patients and families, with development efforts beginning from their unmet needs and the challenges of living with serious heart disease. Edgewise provides company, leadership, investor and news information, and offers career opportunities for people interested in contributing to its science-driven research and development mission.
