## Description

EDI-GLA is a premier resource for flight simulation enthusiasts, dedicated to providing an extensive database of real-world flight plans since 2005. With a collection of over 378,000 flight plans, EDI-GLA serves as both a comprehensive archive of historical airline flights and a continually updated source for new routes, allowing users to experience flight simulation as authentically as possible. Each flight plan is meticulously curated and includes alphanumeric callsigns, giving sim pilots an edge in achieving realism in their virtual journeys.

While the service is completely free, users are required to register for access. EDI-GLA stands out for its commitment to enhancing the flight simulation experience, though it is important to note that these flight plans are intended solely for simulation purposes. Despite challenges in updating older plans due to changes in AIRAC navigation data, EDI-GLA remains a vital tool for both casual enthusiasts and serious flight sim pilots alike.
