## Description

EDI Formation is a French nonprofit training organization founded in 1988 and based in Vallauris. A pioneer in professional education on autism and autism spectrum disorders (ASD), it supports professionals, independent practitioners, healthcare and social-care organizations, and family caregivers. Its courses combine theoretical knowledge with practical guidance, drawing on national policies and recommendations from France’s Haute Autorité de Santé. Training also addresses other neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, learning disorders, and intellectual disability.

EDI Formation offers programs across topics such as foundational autism knowledge, communication, educational approaches, assessment, institutional practice, health, sensory needs, and social and professional inclusion. Subjects include augmentative and alternative communication, support for children and adults, positive behavior support, sensory adaptations, applied behavior analysis, sleep, autonomy, and inclusive life planning. Courses are available in person, remotely, through webinars, and as tailored in-house sessions for organizations. The association also provides supervision, practical resources, videos, conferences, and guidance related to quality assessments in social and medico-social services.
