## Description

Edition Records is a British record label that showcases contemporary jazz and improvised music. Founded in 2008 by pianist and composer Dave Stapleton, Edition Records has become an important platform for innovative musicians with its Artist first mentality. The label is dedicated to supporting artists and embracing their unique artistic visions. It champions both emerging and established talent in the jazz scene, promoting forward-thinking and boundary-pushing music. In addition to its commitment to artistic excellence, Edition Records also pays great attention to visual aesthetics. The label collaborates with photographer Dave Stapleton and designer Oli Bentley to create visually stunning album covers that complement the music, providing a holistic and immersive artistic experience. In 2022, Edition Records launched a new imprint called E2 Music, expanding its scope to include electronic producers, singer-songwriters, and instrumentalists in the ambient and neoclassical genres. This demonstrates the label's willingness to embrace new musical styles and push the boundaries of sound. With its unwavering commitment to artists, integrity, and digital growth, Edition Records remains a trailblazer in the contemporary jazz landscape, delivering captivating and enriching musical experiences to listeners worldwide.
