## Description

Armando Dadò Editore is a publishing house with more than 60 years of experience dedicated to culture, history, and literature in Italian-speaking Switzerland. Its diverse catalogue reflects the identity and stories of the region through books spanning subjects such as Ticino’s history, Swiss society, and literary expression. Recent and forthcoming titles include works of fiction, poetry, biography, and cultural and historical research, with some publications presented in more than one language.

The publisher also produces illustrated periodicals focused on local communities, including monthly magazines covering Bellinzona and the Magadino Plain, Locarno and its valleys, and bimonthly coverage of Mendrisiotto and the Lower Ceresio. Readers can explore books, magazines, authors, and publishing series through the company’s website, where titles are available for purchase. Armando Dadò Editore also shares information about literary events and book presentations, and offers a newsletter for updates on new publications. Based in Locarno, the publishing house receives structural support from the Swiss Federal Office of Culture for 2026–2028.
