## Description

It defines rules for creating and transferring assets through transactions, then uses an indexer to replay Ethereum history and calculate balances, supply, holders, and events. Its protocol state can be independently reproduced from the same chain history and rules, without an asset contract storing balances.

The first eDMT asset is enat, a live demonstration of the protocol and indexer. It represents Ethereum block burn: each enat records the provenance of a burn event, while bENAT is a liquidity layer for trading burn quantities. The protocol includes minting, transfers, capture-fee rules, and auctions for mint rights, alongside tools to explore and trade assets, wrap them, and view statistics and profiles.

eDMT also provides a protocol specification, reference indexer, and public API for querying balances, supply, holders, event streams, and block state. Its applications share the same protocol state, with enat serving as the first asset in a model designed to support additional asset lines.
