## Description

Educa is a Swiss specialist agency for the digital education environment, working on behalf of the Confederation and the cantons. It examines how digital change affects education and supports the public education system in responding to new opportunities, risks and responsibilities. Its work brings together the perspectives of a federal education system and global technology providers, with a focus on trust, data protection and responsible digital development.

Educa’s core topics include education technologies, data use, information and legal security, and digital identity. The agency develops foundations for responsible data-use policies, explores models for securely identifying participants in digital education, and helps clarify legal and security questions. It also develops practical approaches for schools adopting educational technology and highlights options for managing system-wide transformation.

Its activities include research and guidance, projects, networks, online services, framework agreements and professional events. Educa shares current developments and resources through publications, news, dossiers and a newsletter.
