## Description

The Global Compact on Education, initiated by Pope Francis on September 12, 2019, aims to foster a united global effort for meaningful educational reform. This innovative initiative seeks to rekindle dedication to more open and inclusive education, emphasizing the belief that "it takes an entire village to educate a child." The compact serves as a platform for collaboration among various stakeholders, including religious leaders, educators, and institutions worldwide, to promote peace, justice, and inclusivity through education.

The initiative encompasses a series of commitments, events, and discussions that address contemporary educational challenges, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Noteworthy milestones include discussions at UNESCO, partnerships focused on African educational values, and engagements during significant global events like the World Youth Day in Lisbon. The Global Compact on Education is not just a call to action but a vital movement to ensure that education remains central to international agendas, inspiring future generations to thrive in a harmonious world.
