## Description

Edwards Genealogy and Family History is a family-history website dedicated to descendants of William and Margaret Edwards, identified as the site’s oldest known Edwards ancestors. The site records that William arrived in Charles City County, Virginia, in 1653 and married Margaret, the widow of William Stadword, before 1659. Its purpose is to share information with the extended Edwards family and provide a place for relatives to preserve recollections and personal stories about loved ones.

Visitors can explore Edwards genealogy, including material on the ancestors and descendants of Brice Hamilton and Sarah Hay Edwards, credited to Susan Jurban. The website also features family reunions, recollections, veterans’ resources, a photo gallery, and information about Hackney veterans. Reunion updates include the Virginia gathering, with the 2026 event noted as held on July 4, and the Michigan reunion, which takes place annually on the second Saturday of August. The site invites family members to contribute memories and check back for future reunion details.
