## Description

Wangerooge Airfield is a public-use airfield on the German island of Wangerooge in Friesland, serving pilots and visitors arriving by air. Its website provides practical information for planning and managing a flight, including pilot guidance, NOTAMs, current weather, operating hours, landing charges, aircraft parking areas, and details about local aviation rules. Pilots can also find information on prior permission requests, airlines, and contact options for the tower, operational services, and booking office for Inselflieger.

The airfield offers a webcam, frequently asked questions, event updates, and an email newsletter featuring important airfield news and changes to access restrictions. For convenience, pilots can pay landing and parking fees through the Aerops app; the site advertises a 10% discount for payments made this way and encourages prompt payment after landing. Visitors can also consult the website’s restaurant and hotel information. With operational updates and visitor resources gathered in one place, Wangerooge Airfield supports flight preparation and a smoother visit to the island.
