European Environmental Bureau

EEB is the largest network of environmental citizens' organizations in Europe, consisting of over 180 member organizations in 40 countries. With a growing number of networks, EEB represents around 30 million individual members and supporters. Their vision is to create a better future where people and nature thrive together, advocating for equal, just, peaceful, and democratic societies.

They believe in a world with rich biodiversity and a safe climate, where laws and policies promote health and wellbeing while respecting nature. EEB focuses on various environmental issues like climate change, biodiversity, circular economy, air, water, soil, and chemical pollution. They also address policies on industry, energy, agriculture, product design, waste prevention, sustainable development, good governance, participatory democracy, and the rule of law in Europe and beyond.

As the only European umbrella organization covering a wide range of environmental policy issues, EEB works with other groups, organizations, and industries to advocate for environmentally friendly and socially just EU policies. Through effective media and coalition building, they strive to make a significant impact on shaping European and international policies
