## Description

EELIS (Eesti Looduse Infosüsteem) is Estonia's comprehensive environmental information platform, dedicated to providing public access to a wealth of data related to the country's natural resources. Operated by the Keskkonnaagentuur, EELIS serves as a key resource for individuals seeking information on protected natural areas, national parks, and various ecosystems. Users can perform targeted searches to access detailed data about specific environmental objects and their attributes directly from the EELIS database.

In addition to raw data, EELIS showcases statistical analyses and descriptive articles that enhance understanding of Estonia's biodiversity and conservation efforts. These reports are published biannually, featuring in-depth insights into the country’s land under protection, thereby promoting transparency and accuracy in environmental data dissemination. EELIS plays a crucial role in preventing misinformation regarding ecological data, ensuring that the natural heritage of Estonia is well-documented and responsibly managed. Emphasizing accessibility and education, EELIS is an essential tool for researchers, policymakers, and the general public.
