## Description

EENP is an organization dedicated to improving lives through partnerships between people and dogs. Its assistance-dog program brings together incarcerated men, who train the dogs, and people with disabilities, who are partnered with them. By teaching participants to prepare dogs for this work, EENP supports meaningful human-canine connections and practical assistance for clients.

The organization offers mobility and medical alert services, matching assistance dogs with people whose needs can be supported by these partnerships. Its website also invites visitors to follow a pup, become a client, volunteer, join the team, attend events, explore partnerships, or make a donation. These opportunities help engage the wider community in the organization’s work.

EENP shares news and invitations through its email list and provides information for people seeking to get in touch. Based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, it describes its mission as harnessing the unique strengths of human-canine partnerships to improve lives. Through its programs and community involvement, EENP connects dog training with support for people with disabilities.
