## Description

The Eeyou Eenou Police Force (EEPF) is a regional police service that works in partnership with communities to ensure the safety of Eeyou Istchee residents. Since its establishment in 2011, the EEPF has been dedicated to maintaining peace, order, and public security by preventing and repressing crime and offenses in accordance with the law and Cree communities' by-laws. The EEPF is proud of its origins and committed to providing professional policing services in collaboration with the communities it serves. With staff located in 10 different locations, including an office in Amos, the EEPF works closely with the Cree Nation Government's Human Resources and Apatisiiwin Skills Development departments to enhance recruitment efforts. The EEPF operates under the administration of the Cree Nation Government and is funded by both the Canadian and Quebec governments. The core values of professionalism, integrity, respect, and accountability guide the EEPF's work, ensuring individual safety, well-being, and development. In case of an emergency, residents can reach out to their local detachment or contact the EEPF directly for more information.
