## Description

Egy Szív a Gyermekekért Alapítvány is a Hungarian public-benefit foundation dedicated to helping sick children and supporting their families. Its primary mission is to provide financial assistance for treatment abroad for Hungarian citizen children living in Hungary when the necessary care cannot be provided by domestic institutions or through the involvement of visiting foreign specialists. The foundation focuses on cases where overseas treatment may be essential to save a child’s life, and it can help families cover accommodation and other related costs.

Alongside family support, the foundation donates medical instruments and equipment to child healthcare institutions and medical practices selected through its grant programmes. It also organizes “pain relief corners,” supplying children’s healthcare facilities with small gifts intended to ease the stress of treatment and painful examinations. The organization shares information for families, including support conditions and travel guidance, and publishes news, reports, and resources about its work. A public-benefit foundation since 1998, it directs its income toward charitable purposes and invites donations to support children and their families.
