## Description

EHBO-Vereniging Bladel is a community-based first-aid association in Bladel, Netherlands, with approximately 30 members. It helps people develop practical skills for responding to injuries and medical emergencies, building confidence to assist others at home, work, sports settings and in public places. Members maintain their knowledge through regular practice evenings and volunteer at events in Bladel and nearby Netersel. Event support has included local sports matches, running races, cycling events, festivals and community celebrations.

The association offers first-aid courses covering subjects such as wounds, burns, poisoning, choking, eye injuries, unconsciousness, breathing problems, stroke recognition, CPR and AED use. It also provides CPR refresher training and introductory first-aid workshops, including sessions focused on babies and toddlers for parents, grandparents and babysitters. EHBO-Vereniging Bladel is recognized by the Dutch Resuscitation Council for its CPR courses; participants receive an official certificate. Those interested may also register as volunteer civilian responders through Hartslag.nu. The organization aims to keep its courses affordable and accessible to the community.
