## Description

The Eerste Leidsche EHBO Brigade is a volunteer first-aid association in Leiden, founded in 1932. Established to provide first aid on land, the organization focuses on making first-aid education accessible and helping members maintain their practical knowledge. Over the years, thousands of Leiden residents have earned first-aid certificates through the association.

Its activities include EHBO (first-aid) courses, EHAK training in first aid for children, and resuscitation and AED instruction. The brigade also offers tailored courses and can provide first-aid assistance at events when possible. Its instructors bring experience in areas including emergency care, child first aid, basic life support and AED use. The association aims to offer a welcoming, supportive environment for people who want to learn or refresh essential skills.

Individuals can join the brigade to take part in training and help sustain their first-aid knowledge. The organization is based on Boshuizerlaan in Leiden and has served the local community for generations.
