## Description

EINZ, or ECMO in New Zealand, is a non-profit initiative committed to advancing equitable access to advanced life-support technologies like ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) through education, innovation, and collaborative governance. Founded in New Zealand in 2020, EINZ emerged from a national project focused on expanding ECMO access in a geographically diverse healthcare system. The organization connects healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers globally to optimize the implementation of life-support technologies in healthcare settings.

EINZ offers a range of educational programs, including hands-on training with expert-led sessions and innovative methods like virtual reality simulations. They also support the development of regional governance structures tailored to the unique needs of different healthcare systems. By fostering international collaboration, EINZ partners with organizations worldwide, enhancing knowledge-sharing and resource availability. Their pioneering work not only improves ECMO access but also aims to promote equity in critical care, making EINZ a vital force in the global healthcare landscape.
