## Description

EIPAN is an interdisciplinary team in Buenos Aires dedicated to supporting babies and children with developmental challenges, together with their families. Founded in 1990 as the Equipo Interdisciplinario para la Atención del Niño con Alteraciones del Desarrollo, the organization has worked with children and families for decades and has been based at its current location since 1994.

EIPAN’s approach recognizes each child’s potential and their place within a family and community. The team assesses individual needs and develops treatment strategies with future requirements in mind, while accompanying parents throughout the therapeutic process and helping them understand their child’s challenges. Care is offered in a welcoming environment that values warmth, play, participation, and inclusion.

The team’s disciplines include neuropediatrics, social work, early intervention, physical therapy and kinesiology, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, and psychopedagogy. EIPAN also provides advice and professional development through courses, workshops, conferences, and internships, and lists social action among its activities. Its work combines child-focused care, family support, and ongoing professional learning.
