## Description

EIRA (European Institute of Road Assessment) is a not-for-profit organization established in 2015 under Slovenian law. It was founded by board members of EuroRAP, an international membership organization registered in Belgium in 2002. EIRA's main objective is to promote road infrastructure safety and assess the safety attributes of roads in Europe. They specialize in implementing transnational cooperation projects and conducting research and innovation projects related to road safety and infrastructure. EIRA works closely with European and international institutions, as well as the European Commission, to foster the implementation of the safe system approach and promote infrastructure safety. They are an active member of EuroRAP and serve as a leading partner in Eastern Europe. With a team consisting of experienced professionals, including directors Shona Holroyd and Ferry Smith, as well as project director Olivera Rozi and senior road safety engineer Marko Ševrović, EIRA is dedicated to improving the safety and sustainability of the mobility system.
